Rated 1 out of 5 by from Go Somewhere Else This Location Is Terrible! I just spent $636.38 on 4 new tires and an oil change at the Palm Coast location. I initially went there because the reviews of this location seemed to be OK overall. Upon arriving I discussed the tires that I wanted and gave the keys to them. I mentioned that I could see they were very busy and it would be no problem if they needed the car until the next day (it was about 3PM on a weekday - they close at 7PM). The gentleman that helped me was clearly from New York or another Northeast area based on his very thick northeastern accent. I thought I was in good hands. At about 7PM I received a phone call from the store telling me they were just getting started on the car and planned to have it done that night. About 30 minutes later they called me to tell me that the car was done. I was surprised that it only took 30 minutes to change 4 tires, balance the tires, perform an alignment check and oil change. I headed over to pick up the car (about 1 mile from my house). When I got there I was told that they DID NOT perform an alignment check but could see that it "Drove Straight" so it would be no problem. Most people know that you shouldn't put 4 brand new tires on a vehicle without checking the alignment....poor alignment will cause the brand new tires to wear unevenly and possibly more quickly. I was disappointed with this but figured I could arrange an alignment check the following week. Either way it was clear that they had really rushed to provide the services requested. I paid the $636 and left with the vehicle. As I drove home (just 1 mile from the shop) my check engine light and 4 wheel drive lights came on. Something was definitely wrong and I was pretty sure it was related to the service provided since these lights were not on when I dropped the car off or anytime since I bought this car (new). The store was already closed so I had no option but to return the store the next morning. When I returned to the store the same gentleman was there and was immediately very defensive when I calmly and politely explained what had happened. He adamantly declared that there is no way these lights came on as a result of their workmanship. I explained that the lights were not on when I dropped off the car and it seemed pretty likely that this was related to the work they performed on the vehicle. I had left the keys in the car so I stepped outside to get them and when I went back into the store the same guy was telling his associate that there was no way they caused this problem. I was already getting annoyed with this guy's rude and defensive behavior considering I had been very polite about the situation. We then went for a road test so he could see the lights come on with his own eyes....during that road test he proceeded to tell me there was no way they caused this problem and that there is such a thing as "coincidence". I explained to him that if it is "coincidence" I should buy a lottery ticket because this is a Honda Pilot and known to be an extremely reliable vehicle. He continued with his rude approach and by the time I returned to the store with him I felt absolutely no confidence that he would attempt to fix the problem or even have the technical knowledge to resolve the issue. I finally told him to just give me the keys and I would take the vehicle to Honda. I have taken the vehicle to Honda and found out that the tire installation did cause this problem and cost me an additional $75 to resolve with Honda. The tires and TPMS were not installed properly. These systems are tied to the 4 wheel drive system in a Honda Pilot and the unskilled installers at Tires Plus did not realize this. The result was that my system lights went off. I would advise everyone to avoid this location at all costs. If you must use Tires Plus try one of the other locations like St. Augustine. This store is terrible and the customer service is not what I would expect when spending $600+ on tires. There is a solid chance they will screw something up on your car and end up costing you more money to get a proper repair. They are only interested in getting a fast sale from you and do not provide any reasonable level of customer service.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a good experience... Lost my stem valve covers then they appears and were broke... Scratch my rims and could not reset the low pressure sensor.. Tires were very dirty and looked terrible... And I payed top $ .. What more should I say!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super responsible agent Had a quick and pleasant experience. The assistant was knowledgeable and very well versed in the products I needed for my vehicle. Whilst in the shop I witnessed the agent deal with two difficult customers. Both customers had problems with their vehicle at the shops miscommunication and not at the fault of my assistant. I witnessed him take charge and provide both customers with a good attitude and professional and respectful tone. I will be coming back for my next oil change due to my experience and your price. In closing the technician was very short with me and I felt uncomfortable with him working on my car. His lack of people skills made me feel rushed and as if my business was an inconvenience to him. Please talk to him.
