What are Run Flat Tires?

Run Flat Tires allow you to continue driving with what would normally be a flat tire. How does it work? When your tire loses pressure, the Run Flat Tire's tread rests on a support ring that's attached to the wheel. You can generally drive on the tire for 50 miles at no more than 50 MPH until it's convenient for you to have the tire changed.

Many new cars now include Run Flat Tires as original equipment. They eliminate the danger, mess and hassle of changing your tire while on the road. Run Flats also free up trunk space since you no longer need to carry a spare.
