SIGNS YOU NEED TIRE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT

Catching signs of tire damage early can help prevent bigger issues and save you from needing to replace tires earlier than expected. Here are a few things to look out for that may mean it’s time for tire repair service or replacement:

● Visible damage like cracks, punctures, or bulges ● Debris embedded in tires, such as nails or screws
● Repeated low tire pressure or TPMS warnings ● Excessive vehicle vibration
● Unreliable traction when driving ● Low tire tread depth or uneven wear

SAFETY NOTE: If your tire looks flat or you drove on a flat, the sidewall may be compromised. If you suspect you have a flat tire, stop driving and call Tires Plus. Your local repair shop can inspect your vehicle and guide you through next steps on tire repair or replacement.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING TIRE REPAIR SERVICE?

  • WHAT WE DO: Remove tire from wheel, inspect inside and out, and, if eligible, perform an industry-approved repair. Our technicians will always confirm recommended services with you prior to carrying out the tire repair.
  • WHAT QUALIFIES: Single punctures in the tire tread, ≤ 1/4″ (6 mm), not overlapping another repair, inner liner intact.
  • WHAT DOESN'T QUALIFY: Tire sidewall or shoulder damage, large/irregular gashes, or tires at 2/32″ tread. These issues require a tire replacement. Certified tires with our Road Hazard Protect Warranty could have their tire replaced free with new tires of equivalent value.
  • INCLUDED CHECKS: We will always check your valve stem, bead seating, and tire balance and will advise if TPMS service is needed.
  • AVERAGE TIRE REPAIR SERVICE TIME: After inspecting your tire, we'll confirm any needed services with you for your approval. Service time will vary depending on needs.
  • SERVICE INTERVAL: Damages aside, it's recommended to have your vehicle’s tires inspected annually for potential damage and needed repairs.
